Bio
Pattie is a dramatist, playwright, songwriter and more importantly, a change agent. She has a passion for the youth, a love for music and a desire to see people encouraged. While serving as a coach and mentor for youth, Pattie’s ministry has translated into her being a motivational speaker and an inspiring thought-leader and serve as a life consultant to church and community leaders.
A professional announcer, national voice-over talent for radio and television commercials, Pattie is dubbed as one of the most versatile voice artists in the U.S. Her voice is heard by millions of people throughout the country and abroad to AOL users everywhere saying: “Welcome! You’ve got Mail!” for AOL’s 9.0 optimized and personalized version. This accomplishment was recounted on the front page of The Daily Press newspaper in Norfolk, Virginia. Pattie is a member of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) union. In her spare time, Pattie doubles as the Christian comedienne , the dear “Mother J” – performing at church conferences, as an opening act for concerts, plays, private functions and at community and school events.
Pattie received her formal education from Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire. She has a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Theatre. Raised in Hartford, Connecticut, she is a native of Jamaica, West Indies. Pattie currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia; and is the proud mother of two children: daughter, Diamond and son – Levi.
Regardless of the assignment, Pattie functions as a visionary and catalyst. A teacher at heart, her gift from God is her voice. Whether heard on television, radio, through her character “Mother J”, through song, spoken word or through her writings, Pattie intends to minister to the masses with her God-given voice for whatever venue He allows. She is on assignment to continue to write ministry pieces that uplift, inspire and affect change.
